Reawakening

It’s hard to believe I started my very first blog in 2008 (SRSLY LIZ, anyone?)

It was different back then — vintage ANYthing, thrifting, owls and headshots taken on your iMac were so in. People actually read blogs and subscribed to them, even. Fast forward to now, and Instagram rules all. In a way, I suppose it is a form of micro-blogging. Post a pretty photo with a Lightroom preset on it and write a heartfelt caption — boom. Blogging.

But I’ve missed REAL blogs. Actual unfiltered writing.

And so here I am. I’d been tossing around the idea of making a return to blogging for a while and then my friend Ashlee talked about blogging making a comeback via her Instagram Stories and I felt like that was the final push to just. do. it. It’s also not lost on me that I’ve decided to come back to blogging with Spring on the horizon. A reawakening.

In true Liz fashion I decided to build this whole site at 9 PM. It’s now a little past midnight and it’s not perfect but it’ll do, for now. I’m so excited to share more of my heart and everyday life. And I’m so glad you’re here! xx
