2017 Holiday Gift Guide for Her + Him + Baby

01 / Wine Glasses : I lost a lot of my wine glasses during the move earlier this year and I've had my eye on these stemless copper pretties. They totally make the perfect gift for wine lovers because I'm a firm believer that you can never have too many.

02 / Black Jumpsuit : LBJ is the new LBD (little black dress)! I think they flatter every figure and is the perfect garment for that stylish lady in your life.

03 / Card Holder : Every #ladyboss needs a cute business card holder for those seize the moment opportunities.

04 / Fitbit : I looove my Fitbit. It's a no-nonsense activity tracker (the Apple watch has too many bells & whistles for my liking). Go the extra mile and nab this rose gold replacement band (I also own this and it's wonderful that it's magnetic because it adjusts perfectly to my weirdly small wrists). Can we say sporty chic

05 / Hair Care Set : Score major points with putting this Kristin Ess hair care box set under the tree. Seriously, just trust me.

01 / Bluetooth Headphones : A great, versatile gift he can use at the gym, on the plane, walking the dog, etc.

02 / Beard Tonic : Herbivore Botanicals is known for its killer products for women but they also make rad stuff for men too, like this little bb beard tonic sampler. Let him pick his favorite one and buy your bearded fella the full-size, next time.

03 / Slouchy Beanie : You can't go wrong with a cozy, slouchy beanie for his noggin!

04 / Sunglasses : Throw him some shade...the good kind--with these stylish Warby Parker sunnies.

05 / Side Table : It's the perfect perch for his beer or snacks during the big game. Bonus points for it's sleek, complimentary design. It's no secret we LOVE West Elm.

01 / Wooden Play Gym : How cute is this?! I think its a great deal compared to other similar products out there. Don't forget to grab the matching toys!

02 / Skip Hop Activity Center : I've seen this all over Instagram lately so I finally looked it up online and I'm fairly certain we'll be snagging this as one of Walker's gifts! I love that it transforms into different things as he gets older.

03 / Burts Bees Organic Sleepers : Raise your hand if you're like me and HATE baby pajamas with the zillion snaps--it makes those half-asleep, middle of the night diaper changes THAT much harder. We love these Burts Bees onesies that zip up, plus they're super soft and come in a bunch of cute designs.

04 / Diaper Caddy : Okay, so I know this one isn't actually for baby, but I own this and its really practical + useful. I'm always looking for baby items that aren't an eyesore and I love the neutral, clean design of this organizer.

05 / Dockatot : The hype is real--I could NOT have made it the first few newborn weeks without mine. We're moving Walker into his crib next week and we plan on easing the transition with placing his Dockatot in the crib at first. The marble slip-cover is on my want list!

Inspiration / Milk Bath Photography

Back before I was even pregnant, I'd seen tons of milk bath photography shoots and have always thought they looked so romantic and dreamy. If you know me, you already know how much I love baths so now that I'm expecting I thought it'd be fun to try and use this doubly to my advantage!

I ordered this dress which should be arriving this weekend and I've commissioned my sister to help me take photos at my parents' who happen to have a large soaking tub. I've been pinning inspiration like crazy and these are some of my favorites.

Sunflowers are my favorite flower so I'm thinking of incorporating those but I also love Peonies and they're in season right now so I think a combination would be really pretty. I don't think you can really go wrong with florals.

I also really love the idea of doing another one of these once Walker is born, with him in them. How sweet is that?!

Mood / Baby Shower

Now that we know we have a boy on the way I've started brainstorming baby shower ideas. I'm pretty settled on a desert/cactus/fiesta theme for our little cowboy. I created a moodboard and have been pinning like crazy!

The party is in August so I have quite a while to get organized. Luckily I have amazing family + friends who are pretty stellar at throwing parties. Since I come from a really big Mexican family I'm having an all-girl one with them and then a separate co-ed shower with Joel + all our friends. If you know me, you know I'll find any excuse to throw a party and eat!
